The goal of the Catholic Esquire is to restore Catholic Christendom in America through recognition of the Social Kingship of Christ in the public square.
This effort requires battling the forces of evil on two different, but interrelated, fronts: the Modernists within the Church and the secular humanists seeking to impose a global communistic regime on the ruins of of a post-Christian society. This battle takes the form of defending traditional Catholicism and spreading the Gospel while at the same time applying its teachings to solve real-world problems.

Why the “esquire”? Esquire is still a term commonly used to refer to attorneys at law in the United States. It was originally a feudal rank in the Middle Ages just below a knight, which reminds modern Americans that our Western cultural heritage is rooted in a well-ordered society dating back centuries. Most significantly, the word itself derives from the Middle French word “esquier” meaning “shield bearer”. Because this website is dedicated to defending Christ’s Social Kingship and its implementation in the United States of America, the title seems appropriate.
